Background

Ian Strand is a San Diego artist and the sole proprietor of Strand Out Media. He is a graduate from the University of Michigan, where he earned Bachelors of Arts degrees in Art & Design and Screen Arts & Cultures.

 

Art

Ian currently specializes in abstract expressionist oil painting as well as digital photography and cinematography. In his paintings, he explores the different possible combinations of color and texture. In his photographic work, he attempts to abstract the everyday elements of life.
